Delete Your Account & Data

You can permanently delete your Dharma account and all associated data at any time, using either of the two methods below.

Option 1: Delete in the app (instant)

Open Dharma → Profile → Privacy → Delete Account. This immediately and permanently deletes your account.

Option 2: Request deletion by email

If you no longer have the app installed, email us from the address registered to your account:

• Send a request to support@dharmascriptures.com with the subject "Account Deletion Request".
• Include the email address associated with your Dharma account.
• We process deletion requests within 7 business days and will confirm by email once complete.

What gets deleted

Deleting your account permanently removes:

• Your profile (name, email, photo)
• Reading progress, bookmarks, and last-read verse
• AI chat history and commentary requests
• Referral code association and referral history
• Device and notification tokens

Records we're legally required to retain (e.g. transaction records for tax/accounting purposes tied to a completed purchase) may be kept for that limited purpose only, as described in our Privacy Policy.

Subscriptions

Deleting your account does not cancel an active Google Play subscription. Cancel separately via Google Play — see our Cancellation & Refund Policy.
